Our Story
Pahrump Valley Recycling opened in 2009 as the first metal recycling center in Pahrump. Our family has over 46 years of experience in the steel industry — we ran a yard in Las Vegas for 23 years before making the move to Pahrump permanently.
When we got here, we saw that all of the community's metal was being thrown away instead of putting money back into Pahrump. That's when we decided to open PVR.
We're committed to embracing our community and believe recycling is essential for preserving our planet. The reclaimed metal we process plays a part in national security — used for military and national defense applications.
Our facility is a small 2-acre yard where we ensure all materials are sorted and recycled properly so our customers get the most value for their material. We're a family company, constantly improving, and we look forward to serving this community for years to come.
What We Do
We buy all ferrous and non-ferrous metals at competitive prices. Bring your scrap to our yard and get paid on the spot. We handle everything from aluminum cans to heavy industrial steel.
We deliver roll-off boxes directly to your location — residential or commercial. Fill it with metal scrap and we'll pick it up. Perfect for job sites, cleanouts, and ongoing operations.
Got a junk vehicle? We pick up cars, trucks, and heavy equipment with titles. We come to you and handle the removal so you don't have to worry about hauling.
We do metal property clean-ups and you get paid for it. If you've got metal piling up on your property, give us a call and we'll clear it out.
Bring in your used car batteries for recycling. We accept all types of lead-acid batteries and pay competitive rates. Keep hazardous materials out of landfills.
Old refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves — we take them all. Appliances contain valuable metals that can be reclaimed and recycled responsibly.
